"1883 Sep 28 - 1884 May 10: Very early Around the World Postal card in 225 days: Starting from Meerane Germany passing more than dozen countries and franking postage of extremely rare usage on postal history 1883 8c. B overpritned, 1883 Hawaii Kingdom a pair of 2c. rose(rare on postal history), 1883 D'Haiti 1c.& 2c., 1883 Portugal a pair of 10R green. Amazing journey through more than 12 countries or important ports with more than 14 different superbly struck cachets, ie. Germay - Port Said Egypt - Suez Canel - Bangkok - Singapore - San Francisco USA - Honolulu Hawiian Kingdom - St.Au Prince D'Haiti - St. Thomas, Lisbon Portugal and returning back to Meerane Germany. Most cancelleations were clearly struck with very clear dates and few faded unreadable for accuracy. The postage of Straits Settlement Queen Victoria overprinted B 8c. used on any postal history is an exccessively rare on its own right and is probably an unique mail routing for the period. Impressive and amazingly very well preserved condition for over 140 years today. VF.(1) "
